About Me

non-slip, beautiful concrete finishes for pool decks

The surface around my in-ground swimming pool was always slippery when it was wet. I decided last year after watching my three year old son slip and fall for the last time that I was going to have a contractor come out and resurface the area around the pool. I have spent the last several months looking into the different concrete finishing techniques that will not only provide a safe, non-slip surface, but that would also look really nice around the pool. To find out what options you have to create a non-slip beautiful surface around your pool, visit my site.

Landscape Ideas For Your Business

by Bessie Armstrong

If you run your own business, then you know how important it is to cater to your clients. If your clients feel they aren't getting the best treatment possible, they will easily go somewhere else. If you have enough clients do this, then you no longer have a successful business. On the other hand, if you keep your clients happy, then they will come back and bring others with them. This is how you successfully grow your business. If your business has a lot of landscaping, then you want to be sure your landscape even caters to your clients. Having certain things for them on your property can help them feel as if they have been treated well. Here are some things to be sure you have on your property.

Concrete sidewalks

Make sure you have sidewalks for your clients to walk on all the way from the street and from the parking lot to your front doors. Also, if you have a very large property, then you may want to add additional sidewalks that go to different spots on your property. This will allow your clients to walk to different areas so they can make a call in private, smoke, or do whatever they want to do without having to do it right in front of the company doors.

Sitting areas

The commercial concrete sidewalks should be wide enough for a person in a wheelchair to be able to use them Also, make sure there is a wider area where a person in a wheelchair can turn around and head back to your doors when they are done outside. Another good idea may be to have some areas off of the sidewalk that offer sitting benches. Another sidewalk can lead your clients to the sitting benches. This allows them to rest while they make their calls or enjoy the outside while they wait for you or for something else it is they are waiting for.

Flowers

You can make your concrete sidewalks more enjoyable by having flowers and plants planted along them. This gives the clients something nice to look at while they are outside of your business. This also makes you look as if you put a lot of pride into your work. People will think if you put that much into catering to your clients while they are visiting your place of business, then you must cater to them when it comes to working with them as well.
